Ebru is the stunning traditional Turkish art of creating amazing and colorful patterns by sprinkling and brushing color pigments onto a pan of oily water and then transferring the patterns to paper.
Ebru artistry, or what is called the Turkish art of paper marbling in English, has been chosen as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
Enkaustic technique by me
Enkaustic also known as hot wax painting, involves using heated beeswax to which colored pigments are added. This technique that allows you more freedom of expression than the traditional encaustic wax painting style.
