Inspired by Travels in Exotic Mexico, Life in Australia, and her Homeland

In 2015, Natasha Art traveled through the Yucatán, exploring mystical cenotes—underground caves with waterfalls and hanging vines which inspired her Cenote collection. Living in Australia, she discovered a love for whales and dreamlike, mystical landscapes, incorporating healing, freedom, and liberation into her work.

Coming back in her Slovak studio during European summers, the birch trees of her homeland with their hanging leaves echoing cenote vines—became a new source of inspiration. Over time, her art evolved from realistic cenotes to abstract interpretations, dreamlike scenes with whales, and more recent compositions featuring falling roses, castles, lighthouses, and birch trees. The falling leaves, roses, and vines symbolize release, the flow of life, and the liberation of expression, inviting viewers into worlds of imagination, reflection, and timeless beauty.
